eww.. nasty!

as I've mention before, I am a nanny. I have been for quite some time now. It was my first & only job. This little boy is Malachi. He is the second child I've been a nanny for & at times, the most challenging. He certainly is hilarious though as he tries to learn words. Today as I was changing his diaper he looked at me & in his broken, newly learned English said "Eww! Nasty". I couldn't had said it better myself... Next week will be my last week of work! I will miss him... but not his stinky diapers... or the way he slaps me in the head with his arm when I try to take a nap with him.

+ This is the way my face has looked a lot lately, & I like it.

+ I bought a super cute bikini! It ended up being pretty expensive & I cant believe I spent that much money on something I wont be able to wear after the 11th of April for 6 months but oh well, it will make me happy until I leave!

+ If I don't have real Mexican food soon I'm going to die. I'm seriously on my death bed here!

+ My week has been very uneventful so far. Besides working 9 hour days, sleeping and talking to boyfriend I haven't done much of anything.

okay, its 4am & since I cant go back to sleep I'm going to go curl up in bed, watch the old movie channel until I have to get up & get ready for work at 5:30am

For the first time I can really say, THANK GOD ITS FRIDAY!

Early mornings have been kicking my butt with this nannying (is that even a word?) job.

Right now,
as I speak..errr.. write!
I am still in bed, in my pj shorts & tank top with not a spec of make up on my face & my hair looks a bit like I attempted to put it up in a bun... & then it got hit by a tornado..
& I have exactly 30 minutes to do my face, bundle up with tons of warm clothes & do my hair, which is impossible for me.
But what am I doing?
Sitting here.
Writing.
Soaking in each last minutes I have in my cozy bed.
*sigh*
I'm kinda sad.
I hate going out in rainy days!

Its been BUS-AH!

End of the week update:

- This totally shocked me & kind of intrigued me

- I went from my normal nanny status to a live in nanny for two days & loved it :)

- I went to Discovery Green for my first time & loved it! Cant believe id never been. I'm such a horrible Houstonian.

- Hit my bosses gorgeous new car with mine... It was my first accident ever... Luckily there wasn't much damage & my boss is a saint & I love her to death & I'm eternally grateful for the fact she didn't even get mad!

- Spent way to much money on clothes.. but don't regret it :)

- Listened to the new Doom & Gloom song that came out today "Make Me An Offer" a little too much.. but also don't regret it :)

- & now I'm a little sickie

I need your guys help!!!

I don't know where to get some new film for my instax mini 7 that I can go bbuuyyyyy!

I need some asap & don't have time to order it off the interweb.

I feel like this is an impossible request & a dumb question but I had to ask..

Fall, oh Fall.

Friday was a fun day!

I had to work all day & my mom had my jeep but my boss let me borrow her car (2010 Honda accord crossroad! its AMAZING! Even if it looks like a space car!)

When I got there bright & early Kevin was already in his costume!

When I finally got him out of it we went & got food & pumpkins to carve!
This was his (& mine ;)) it was the first pumpkin I had ever carved, can you believe that?
It was quite fun! & Kevin loved it!
I'm now so ready for fall! (instead of my previous attitude of not wanting the cold weather to come). I'm ready to bake cookies with fall tastes, break out my boots & sweaters & the smell of Cinnamon & apples :)
Anyone have some good cookie recipes?

Yesterday I was having a horrible time of it.
I couldn't sleep,
finally got to sleep at 12pm & had to get up two hours later.
Used to I could run on two hours for days but when I woke up I felt overwhelmingly sick.
Insomnia was a major pain in the rump yesterday, needless to say.
I didn't get around to feeling well at all, all day.
Kevin was a little difficult.
Nothing I couldn't handle (he is a sweetheart no matter what)
But he just didn't seem to want to listen or obey but by the end of the day when I got off we were cuddled up watching hours of Scooby Doo.
I feel fortunate that Kevin loves Scooby Doo as much as I do.
Anyways,
by the time I got home I still was a little grumpy & I took sleeping pills & forced myself to go to sleep & decided to blog when I had a full night of sleep under my belt, so here I am!

I just wanted to say today was my first day back at work in over a week.

Kevin's Birthday

For those of you that don't know,
I'm a nanny,
To this little cutie pie.
His name is Kevin & today he turns five.
I picked him up from school with donuts in the shape of footballs in hand..
He was pretty happy.
The only sad part about today is knowing that he is getting another year older & sooner or later he wont need me anymore!
I hope that time is much, much further in the future because I love my job :)

Life, as of the first three days of September

I don't want to blog about meaninglessness but I'm trying to become a better blogger & the first step is to always blog even when i don't think anyone will be interested.

so here goes.

- I'm sick, & have been for over a week now.
- My bosses are moving into their new home, which I've been helping with.
- Today was my first day off in forever!
- My mom is out of town for the weekend, left today.
- I only have $20 dollars in my wallet.. Well.. less than that now I got lost on the way home & had to pay to get off the toll road -_- I need some money for sure.
- I'm hungry.
- Every single one of my friends are pulling me in a million different directions & I'm not a freakin robot & cant be there for EVERYONE, ALL THE TIME! I've tried it, Its impossible. Just cause I don't see you everyday doesn't mean I hate you, it means I have a life.
- I really want to spend the rest of my weekend (after I get off tomorrow) at my bff (I hate that term but.. oh well.) Rachel's but I don't have a puppy sitter for little Harley boy. Plus I feel bad about just leaving him here without his grandma.
- The only person I really really want to talk to is on a completely different time zone than me. Which means it is 9:30am here.. 11:30am there & he's still not up... Which means I'm going to be up all night talking to him, & I have work at 7am in the morning.. & I don't wake up to alarms... & my mom isn't here to wake me... which means.. a LOT of Monsters...

Fruit Cleanse:

My three day fruit cleanse lasted two and 1/3 of a day.

my mom brought me home cheese sticks..

I couldn't refuse!

I am disappointed in myself & plan on trying again when my life gets more stable

Latest book:

I FINALLY (after about three months) finished 'The Wedding'.

It is Nicholas Sparks follow up book for 'The Notebook'

even though I don't even like saying that cause, ugh!

was so slow, and repetitive and I'm positive there are at least 200 pages of nothing in there!

But I will admit I like the twist at the end.

The book was.. cute.

Now!

For a new book.

I tried to finish Nights in Rodanthe but it brings back too many memories of my recent struggles.

I think I'm going to read 'The Guardian' next.

My week consisted of:

Catching up with old friends.

Cleaning my room.. finally.

Laying in bed.

Laying in bed A LOT!

Watching old movies.

Writing (barely. For the first time in my life I have writers block).

Reading!

Its been fun but I'm so stir-crazy!

Excited to go back to work tomorrow!

I'm About To Do Something I'll Regret

Tonight is busy, & I'm not tired.

But tomorrow when I have to work from 1pm - 9pm I will HATE myself if I don't get any sleep!

But I still have to:

Finish watching this season of this show (I love that they put shows on DVD, who's idea was that? I love them)

Finish crocheting TWO hats

Finish reading "The Wedding"

Blog (on more than just this blog)

Write in my diary which I have BADLY neglected

Charge my camera

Finish writing my sermon for Thursday (find something to write it about)

Do my work out video

Find some cool collage/ display idea for these encouraging note cards the people at church gave me :)

Well it doesn't seem like that much when I put it all together but when I think about the work that goes into each bit of it...

ehh..

except the watching TV part,

that isn't so bad hahaha

Over here!

So..

I know I disappeared!

I was just had my grandparents house & decided to kick back and read a couple of books.

I finished "A Walk to Remember" (in one day), and "Wokini" (literally changed my life).

It was peaceful and realizing but now I am back home.

I got home yesterday (my grandmother drove me home. Long car drive from her house in Oklahoma).

After being on the road since 6am

I got home & me and my grandmother had to start pack stuff up immediately!

Ya see, I'm moving.

We moved last year at this time,

and I think the year before too.

I'm SICK of moving!

And I love how we always end up moving in the Summer!

Yuck!

So anyways,

my grandmother is staying in town till Friday to help us move.

We have to be moved out by the first of the month.

So I didn't have a second of down time.

After putting things in boxes my mother got home and we had to load everything in the car and take it over to our new house (did I mention our apartment is upstairs, and we have to move all our stuff upstairs in the new house... no fun at all)

We got back to our apartment were I had rush and take a shower, do my make up and hair and of course get dressed to go meet my new boss,

Who was lovely!

I'm really excited about my new job.

Oh did I forget to mention that?

Yes.

I not only came home to moving, but also a job!

I found it while I was out of town.

I'm going to be a nanny for a really nice family and I cant wait.

Oh and I also came home to studying full time.

Yes.

I have to take my GED by the first of July.

I want to start college a year early and I just want to get High School over with.

Especially since I'm Home Schooled.

A lot of the times doing my work just feels like a waste of time.

So I am moving, starting a job, and studying full time.

AND my grandmother is in town..

Busy, Busy, Busy

I hope everyone had a fabulous Fourth of July.

Me and mother went to one of her friends from church's mansion on the water and watched the fireworks.

It was quite beautiful.

Rach ended up not being able to go because she got a fever and her mother wanted to take her to the doctor.

Now the excitement of the fourth is over, its time to get ready to go to Mexico!!!!!!!!

Which I'm NOT excited about!

Don't get me wrong, I cant WAIT for the trip.

But the packing/ laundry/ last minute thing I have to take care of is SO not fun.

Leaving tonight and going to the church for a meeting at 6pm then spending the night with Rach and bright and early Monday morning (at 5am) we will be on our way.

I'm quite excited.

Now to take care of the pre-trip things...

ugh.
