One of my best friends (frankie) who now lives in Utah wrote me my favorite birthday wish this past Thursday.
I thought I would share.
"So, there's this girl, and she's just so dang cool. She's my best friend, my lovely wife, & that one person you can talk to about absolutely everything.
We have painted her entire front room & almost all ourselves, dressed up as gangstas to avoid rape, taken multiple photo shoots, spray painted an old "haunted house", dressed up as the World's most ridiculous superheroes and walked all over town, played halo and wow for hours and yelled at intimate objects the whole time, & ssooo many amazing things I can't remember. I sure do miss her. She's an adult today, I hope she has the best birthday in the whole World :)"

30 Days of Truth | Day Nine
I'm so behind with these I have three days to catch up on so lets get started!
Today's Topic: Someone you didn’t want to let go, but just drifted.
The Answer:
The girls in this picture! They were my friends, my family.
We were in theatre together & I think we spent more time together than with our actually families!
Eventually we all separated for different reasons.
The theatre evaporated, some of us left before for person reasons or to focus on other things.
Nicole, Kandice, Courtney & Emily!
(also Allissa but she isn't pictured)
I love these girlies & miss them like crazy..
mmm..
I feel like a reunion is in order.

Frankie's Birthday Weekend 2010
Hey guys!Just dropping in to see if everyone had a fabulous weekend!?
I know I did.
I spent Thursday & Friday with my Best Friend Rachel,
we celebrated our Best Friend & other half Frankie's birthday.
Yes,
She does live in Utah right now,
but that is no reason we cant have a party just like we would if she was here.
We also made her a rainbow cake :D
Then we had to eat it for her.Pure torture ;)
I also got to spend time with frankie's brother Cory, who is also one of my best friends. He recently moved back to Texas from Utah & I hadn't gotten to see him yet.
He is so fun! I missed him!
We spent two days together & Saturday we stayed up till like 1:30am watching a scary movie.
Driving home half asleep & paranoid is no fun though haha
Oh!
and lastly!
My fuljifilm Instax Mini came in :D
I cant wait to bust out my scanner & put my first roll I took up :)

Life, as of the first three days of September
{via}
I don't want to blog about meaninglessness but I'm trying to become a better blogger & the first step is to always blog even when i don't think anyone will be interested.
so here goes.
- I'm sick, & have been for over a week now.
- My bosses are moving into their new home, which I've been helping with.
- Today was my first day off in forever!
- My mom is out of town for the weekend, left today.
- I only have $20 dollars in my wallet.. Well.. less than that now I got lost on the way home & had to pay to get off the toll road -_- I need some money for sure.
- I'm hungry.
- Every single one of my friends are pulling me in a million different directions & I'm not a freakin robot & cant be there for EVERYONE, ALL THE TIME! I've tried it, Its impossible. Just cause I don't see you everyday doesn't mean I hate you, it means I have a life.
- I really want to spend the rest of my weekend (after I get off tomorrow) at my bff (I hate that term but.. oh well.) Rachel's but I don't have a puppy sitter for little Harley boy. Plus I feel bad about just leaving him here without his grandma.
- The only person I really really want to talk to is on a completely different time zone than me. Which means it is 9:30am here.. 11:30am there & he's still not up... Which means I'm going to be up all night talking to him, & I have work at 7am in the morning.. & I don't wake up to alarms... & my mom isn't here to wake me... which means.. a LOT of Monsters...
& that is all for Brooke's fun & exciting life times..
Check in later for an update on the sleepless nanny that worked a twelve hour shift... sounds like its a making for a horror film

Dear Brooke, your mailbox is full.
{via}Dear ankle,
I know we haven't been friends for awhile.
Ever since I started dance when I was three I seemed to have been quickly destroying you.
& there was that one time when I fell down a flight of stairs & intensely hurt you.
& then.. continued to walk on you the entire day & dance without even giving you a brake.
(later to find out I tore a ligament and was making it worse {not that I would've done anything differently if I had know, I was a bad person then.})
But in the recent past I thought we have been reconnecting.
Until this last week...
You've been giving me trouble, & I honestly don't know why...
Please cut it out.
Dear New Phone cover,
I smiled when you showed up at my doorstep this morning.
You're beautiful in all your rainbow sparkly goodness.
Dear P90x ab ripper x,
I hate you!
But I love you!
Even though I skip though the first three ab workouts with the excessive knee in & outs.
I feel like an old women in saying this but, my knees just don't move like that anymore.
Dear Sleep,
visit me soon.
Dear Money,
Its lovely to have you in my wallet.
But,
I'm still confused as to how you disappear so quickly.
Dear Mom,
You drive me more crazy than anyone on this Earth!
but.. I love you.
Dear Batman (my jeep),
I know you love it when 'California Girls' comes on the radio.
You're beautiful & I love you.
You have been very good lately.
for that I am thankful :)
Dear Harley,
You are the cutest thing I've ever seen.
Dear Computer,
I haven't turned you on in two days.
Today I will try one more time before I take you to the store to get you shipped back to HP to get fixed...
PLEASE WORK!
Dear Friends,
You are great.
You guys are there when I need someone to talk to.
When I need to spill secrets.
When I need someone to cry to, or laugh with.
I feel blessed to have every single one of you in my life.
Dear Stranger,
I met you yesterday.
& the first thing you did was diss my mom...
& my dog.
You are an idiot.
You should be happy I didn't punch you.
I'm very protective of my family.
In fact you are sleeping downstairs as I type this.
Having a 'drum' practice with pots & pans sounds pretty good right now.

We take all different paths in life, but no matter where we go, we take a little bit of each other.
THIS,
A lot of girls have a lot of best friends.
But I only have a few and this chick is definitely at the top of the list.
She is different from anyone you'd ever meet.
Unfortunately she see's the good in everything! hehe
And she doesn't stay mad or sad about anything long.
Well, at least if she does she doesn't show it.
She is a good time, a girlie girl, but a tom boy too, a artistic, WOW (World Of Warcraft) addicted, music lovin, awesome person!
Who uses "dude" or "rad" in ever sentence and dyes her hair so much I'm concerned its going to fall out :/
Today I was feeling down and I texted her (twenty text messages to be specific on how "nothing is going right") and it had nothing to do with what she said or didn't say but I noticed as I just talked to her, I started feeling so much better!
She lives in Utah, & I haven't seen her in almost a year,
but she is still one of my best friends.
I love her,
We have so many fun memories together.
I cant wait to create some more this Summer.
Our last Summer being teenagers :/

Let's get rich and build our house on a mountain, makin everybody look like ants...
Haven't blogged a lot... again...
My life hasn't been very busy lately.
Just keeping in contact with my Bryce.
Staying at home, exercising, TRYING to get on a normal sleep schedule.
I've gone to Rach's a couple of times but that's pretty much all I've done since I've got home.
Just trying to get unpacked.
I've gotten rid of so much of my things.
I'm really loving the saying "out with the old, in with the new" lately.
I actually lost all my pictures, videos, contacts and EVERYTHING on my phone :/
My phone finally gave out.
But they gave me a shiny new one :)
only problem is I only have a fourth of my contacts back.
On a lighter note tomorrow I'm going to a Muse/U2 concert with my lovie, Rach :)
Should be fun!
I'm very excited!
ALSO! Tomorrow will be mine and Bryce's one month anniversary.
I cant believe its been a month.
Many more months to come :)

I did it again...
I let my blogging get away from me...
Well I have good news!
Bryce hasn't left for the military yet.
In my other blog I totally posted something about how he hurt his wrist.
Well it looks like he sprained it so he wont be leaving till the day before my birthday (Feb 17th).
Yeah... great birthday present... haha
But I think it'll be fine.
He will be here for his birthday, Christmas, Valentines Day and our five month anniversary so he will be home for a lot.
Only problem is his home is like 23 hours away :(
but we have some plans that will hopefully be fallen through with for the next couple of months.
I really hope he gets to come down here.
I got to meet some many of his friends and family,
I hope to get to share the same thing with him.
Plus he has never seen the ocean!
I'd love to take him to the beach!
So on another note,
my camera is broken :(
I'm working on getting another one.
I hate not being able to post pictures with my blogs.
But don't worry.
THEY WILL BE BACK.
So the other day I totally spent the night at Rach's and we played in the rain...
Just like old times.
I've missed her..
I also got to meet her new niece :)
{this is a picture that I took on my phone, look how cute she is}baby London.
So gorgeous.
Besides that I've just been sitting at home talking to boyfriend all the time.
Last night we talked for six and a half straight hours.
It completely made my day.
We are actually talking right now..
A lot of people say that long distance relationships don't work but to be completely honest,
I couldn't be happier than I am with him, with someone who actually lived here.
We make it work,
and I'm so happy.
:)
{I miss him so much}

One of those life changing experience's
Well wow....
Its been about three weeks since I've last blogged..
I'm so sorry!
I've been home from Utah for four days (I think...) and SO much has changed!
I'm sorry I stopped blogging weekly, my life just got intensely insane!
Well lets start by saying that my trip to Utah was INSANE and pretty much my favorite part of me Summer.
(And if you've been reading my blog you'll be able to see that I had a pretty amazing Summer).
I'll soon be posting a blog explaining :)

Utah Part 2
So I've now been in Utah two weeks and a day.
:)
I'm having such a great time!
People keep asking me if I'm ready to come home yet or when I'm coming home,
The truth is I'm not quite sure if I am ready to go home yet..
I probably should figure that out!
Here are some highlights from this past week and a day:
1. Last Monday I decided to go for a run and I ended up running around the whole town of Price, by myself, without my phone... and it got dark and I got lost... I was embarrassed.
2. Experienced the wonders of eating "inside" at a Sonic
3. Having a movie night with Tina, Bryce, and Carson.
4. Figuring out that Tina's oven will only cook things if you turn it on high.. the hard way.
5. Fixed everyone dinner
6. Two and a half hours on a bus ride with Frankie and the Carbon High School football team on a way to an away game.
7. When the ball fumbled straight to my foot and about 50 football players were running toward me and EVERYONE was staring at me.
8. Going to my first Durby at the fairgrounds in Price.
9. Watching "Dora the Explorer" with Frankie (funniest experience ever!)
10. Watching "17 Again" again, and again... and again...
and the absolutely favorite thing about this week:
Throwing a football around with Jake and Frankie last night in Washington park at 10:30 at night
here are a few pictures of my time in Utah so far:
We tried to make a fire..
didn't work out that well

Everything is changing, nothing stays the same.
Yesterday something horrible happened...two bad things happened.
But I mostly want to talk about the first one.
I was so sad, at first.
I talked to my best friends..
I went from balling my eyes out to being happier than I've been in a long time...
you wanna know why?
because I sincerely believe that everything happens for a reason.
I sincerely believe if things are truly meant to happen then they will..
and if not, no matter how horrible you may feel now
Something better WILL come along.
pain isn't forever.
And sometimes everything has to change in order for you to be truly happy.
and I know in the end I will be.
I just pray about it and let it go....
and as for the second thing....
two people I dearly love who are like second parents to me are moving away.
its quite sad really.
I'm waiting for it to really hit me.

Burt and Frankie

Dear Frankie,
yesterday on the phone, you reminded of that one time when the attic door in your closet was opened and no one owned up to opening it.
So we decided that there was a mass murderer in your closet and we named him Burt.
We had conversations with him sometimes.
He never talked back.
He was very unsocial.
haha,
good times

P.S.
Frankie just reminded me of a few things I left out.
Like Imagination Land.
Were we seriously sat there for hours and just made up this island and roasted marshmellows on our beach and had a tree house.
And when we hardcore jammed to 3OH!3 on the beach and everyone stared.
And all the million times we watched "Across The Universe".
and all the times we walked down to the bay.
especially the time when Frankie almost killed herself climbing across what was left of the bridge from the hurricane and took my phone to take pictures of the bird-watch that got destroyed and then she deleted them and it made me and Rachel SO MAD. haha
and when they had a memorial reef on this wooden post because someone died there and Frankie didn't know what it was so she kicked it super high in the air and I was like "Frankie, you know that was for a dead person, right?" so she had to fish it out of the water and we felt real bad.
haha the best of times!
"can i be the girl you meet in the coin laundry?"
Well, a little update,
I am currently at my grandmothers house.
And not enjoying it as much as I normally do.
Nothing to do with my grandparents.
It has just been raining ever since I've been here.
I miss my friends,
And my friends miss me and its getting harder and harder for them to say I miss you everyday.
I really haven't been home longer than a couple of days since June 10th.
I just want to get home so I can wash and repack all my clothes,
Hang out with Cody.
Have one of me and Rachel's FAMOUS hippie sleepovers.
Plus go see "Public Enemy's AND Harry Potter (I promised).
Meet Scottie (both a good friend of Frankie's and Rachel's that I've never met) who is down from Utah for a visit.
Go to my friend Emily's sweet 16 birthday party/ sleepover.
See "Rent" at my old theatre (its going to have a lot of my friends in it and my old theatre is one of the first places that got the rights to it since its not on Broadway anymore, its bond to be an amazing show!)
FINALLY get my permit!
HOPEFULLY get my belly button pierced (I'm bond to chicken out)
Go to Youth and see all my friends that I've been missing and enjoy the church that I've missed.
Go to Cody's show (I hate missing his shows, I already had to miss one that he had the night we drove out here)
And then turn right around and catch a plane to Utah and stay out there with Frankie for a month before she starts school :(
This Summer has been so busy.
P.S.
For those of you who have heard me speak of Frankie before on my blog and are confused to why I'm visiting her in UTAH!
Her, her mother and brother (Cory) moved back down to Utah.
And Cody stayed here in Texas.
Along with her little Brother, Christopher (who is just the cutest thing).
So I cant wait to go visit her and see Cory and Tina (there mom) who I've missed and get to meet all of her childhood friends!

I hope you have as wonderful of a day as I know I will.
and I hope you are spending it with those you love..

I thought i'd run away from home, but I never get to far.
I'm quite sorry I haven't written in awhile!
I left from Rachel's house Tuesday night after rehearsal.
Somehow it ended up being a super sleepover with our friends Frankie, McCall, and Jeric.
We had a lovely time (even though around 9am I was getting cranky without sleep)
Then the next day we slept in till 5pm,
our friends left and we stayed in her bed ALL DAY watch movies.
"Revolutionary Road" was extremely depressing.
I don't really recommend it.
Then we watched "Madea's Class Reunion" to lighten the mood.
I love Madea movies.
Then we watched "Nights in Rodanthe", which was... a good movie... as hard as it is for me to say it. haha
I've never cried so much for a movie in my whole life!
I was sobbing!
Then we finished the night off with "Titanic" which I had never watched.
HORRIBLE.
I may be the only female in the world that doesn't like that movie but I don't care.
It made me so unbelievable sad and upset.
It stormed that night, and we had a brilliant idea to go play in the rain. Which, was a great idea!
We had the best time and got soaked.
The next day Frankie and her family came back over, we went to ihop and my lovely friends talked me into staying another.
Which was fun.
They built a camp fire and we just had a chilled relaxed night.
Me and Tina (Cody, Frankie, Cory and Christopher's mother) went to walmart to get Mosquito spray in the middle of the night and had a nice little chat and jammed out to music pretty well.
Frankie crashed early, but me Cody and Rach stayed up watched "dodgeball" and stuff.
We have the best times.
I'm home now..
The next few days are going to be hectic.

reasons I love Rachel
- She will jam to 80's rock music with me.
- She finds it fascinating that I know every word to "Loathing" from "Wicked" (if only she knew I know ever word to every song in "Wicked")
- She makes me laugh so hard I snort.
- She draws/ writes all over her walls {which I am proud to say I've helped her with over the years}
- When I do dumb things she just laughs and says "I love you" :)
- She is my hippie dancing partner (since 2007)
- She will lay under the stars with me and talk about how beautiful the world is
- She doesn't judge me when I burp really loud (hehe)
- She will have a Twizzler sword fight with me
- She keeps her mini Christmas tree in her room up all year round
- We both love candles
- Because she cant do a hand stand, but its funny watching her try.
- For her famous "Cups of Joe" {insider}
- We can talk for hours and it will feel like ten minutes
- We take twitter breaks (yes! we twitter. haha)
- She has pretty awesome dogs!
- She's gorgeous
2. She has good taste in everything. Music, clothes, candy, ect.
I love you Rach!
p.s.
If you have a best friend tell her how much you love her today.

I love when that happens.
