The Move = Over.. Almost.

Got Internet back today!
YES!
Back to the blogging World!

We are all packed & unpacked.
Haha Just joking!
My mom is,
I haven't quite gotten to the 'unpacking' part.
My room is full of boxes.
The only thing that isn't is my TV, bedding, clothes, & bathroom stuff.
I know you're probably like 'Well what else do you have?'. Yeah.. I don't exactly know... That's why I haven't bothered to worry about tons of boxes surrounded me.

Harley is adjusting nicely!
Besides the fact that he tried to jump off our second story balcony..
No I take that back he DID jump off our second story balcony.
Thanks to an amazing friend who grabbed his leash at the last second & thanks to God that his neck didn't brake & he wasn't strangled to death in the few seconds it took to pull him to safety!?
I now view him as suicidal, my moms friend says his nickname is 'Suicide' & we had to put this tacky wire fence on our balcony to insure his safety. *sigh*

Last night a cold front came in & today's weather was 'lovely' according to everyone else.
I'm not quite in the mood for amazing, chill, non-humid, anti-pool/ beach weather yet.
I don't know why, seeing how I hate Texas Summers but I'm just not looking forward to it going this year. But by mid-day I took my book & sat outside in the pretty weather with the cool breeze for a bit. It was nice, I wont deny. It made me dream of a future in a small, old fashion, southern town. Sitting on my front porch swing, emerged in a good book. Which someday I WILL happen.

This the only thing close to decoration I've put up so far.
My gorgeous pirate flag.
I don't think this is its permit place but for now, my bathroom is the 'pirate room'.

I cant think of anything original so I'll call this an 'Update'

Fruit Cleanse:
My three day fruit cleanse lasted two and 1/3 of a day.
my mom brought me home cheese sticks..
I couldn't refuse!
I am disappointed in myself & plan on trying again when my life gets more stable
Latest book:
I FINALLY (after about three months) finished 'The Wedding'.
It is Nicholas Sparks follow up book for 'The Notebook'
even though I don't even like saying that cause, ugh!
was so slow, and repetitive and I'm positive there are at least 200 pages of nothing in there!
But I will admit I like the twist at the end.
The book was.. cute.
Now!
For a new book.
I tried to finish Nights in Rodanthe but it brings back too many memories of my recent struggles.
I think I'm going to read 'The Guardian' next.
My week consisted of:
Catching up with old friends.
Cleaning my room.. finally.
Laying in bed.
Laying in bed A LOT!
Watching old movies.
Writing (barely. For the first time in my life I have writers block).
Reading!
Its been fun but I'm so stir-crazy!
Excited to go back to work tomorrow!

ppssstttt!!!

{via}
Over here!
So..
I know I disappeared!
I was just had my grandparents house & decided to kick back and read a couple of books.
I finished "A Walk to Remember" (in one day), and "Wokini" (literally changed my life).
It was peaceful and realizing but now I am back home.
I got home yesterday (my grandmother drove me home. Long car drive from her house in Oklahoma).
After being on the road since 6am
I got home & me and my grandmother had to start pack stuff up immediately!
Ya see, I'm moving.
We moved last year at this time,
and I think the year before too.
I'm SICK of moving!
And I love how we always end up moving in the Summer!
Yuck!
So anyways,
my grandmother is staying in town till Friday to help us move.
We have to be moved out by the first of the month.
So I didn't have a second of down time.
After putting things in boxes my mother got home and we had to load everything in the car and take it over to our new house (did I mention our apartment is upstairs, and we have to move all our stuff upstairs in the new house... no fun at all)
We got back to our apartment were I had rush and take a shower, do my make up and hair and of course get dressed to go meet my new boss,
Who was lovely!
I'm really excited about my new job.
Oh did I forget to mention that?
Yes.
I not only came home to moving, but also a job!
I found it while I was out of town.
I'm going to be a nanny for a really nice family and I cant wait.
Oh and I also came home to studying full time.
Yes.
I have to take my GED by the first of July.
I want to start college a year early and I just want to get High School over with.
Especially since I'm Home Schooled.
A lot of the times doing my work just feels like a waste of time.
So I am moving, starting a job, and studying full time.
AND my grandmother is in town..
Busy, Busy, Busy

Sweet Blog Award? Sweet!

I have not been able to write near as much as I want to.
Being on vacation and all I have been trying to spend some time with my family as well as my laptop got some kind of virus and I cannot get on the Internet on it.
So angry about that!
Oh well.. Life goes on they say!
Also I've been catching up on a lot of reading.
Finally finished "True Believer" by Nicholas Sparks... it was.. good I guess.
Nothing tops "Dear John" for me. hehe.
Now I am reading "Message in a Bottle". I have never seen the movie so don't ruin it for me!
It is also by Nicholas Sparks.
For those of you who don't know my goal this year is to read every book he has ever written.
Which sometimes is hard when you start a book you really aren't that into but you have to finish. Anyways,
This post was meant to be about the wonderful Sweet Blog Award I got from Candid Phobic
Eek!
Totally made my day!
I'd like to pass this on to Big City Dreams, A Tree Called Life, and Bumpkin On a Swing

well i've seen clouds become so greedy that they run off with the sun

curling up with my phone and book and hitting the hay.
I'm getting up early to take a shower.
I know I'm not going to want to take one anymore tomorrow morning than I do now,
but my tonight self wins and myself tomorrow loses
:)

And then the clouds opened up...

I'm not a huge fan of walmart,
due to the fact that there are little kids right now over seas being forced to work seven days a week, fourteen hours a day for MAYBE thirteen cents and hour to make things we buy for low prices.
BUT!
I needed to print out some pictures
but my mother was low on cash and had a gift card for walmart
so we went there to get them printed.
It took an hour so we went to get something to eat and came back
With twenty minutes to spare I looked through the books.
AND
I found "True Believer" by Nicholas Sparks..
Seeing how I had gone to Barnes and Noble looking for another Nicholas Sparks book but they only have his books that are out in movies right now
"Dear John" (already finished)
"The Last Song" (will finish now that I have another book to read after I'm done)
So happy to have a new book.
AWW...
My Nicholas Sparks goal is still in action.
Am I the only person who wont finish reading a book until I buy a new one because I hate the feeling of being bookless?

3 - 05 - 2010

It feels weird to not have been spending my day online and updating my facebook or getting blog inspiration. Instead I spent my day in bed, with my puppy asleep on my legs, working on the book to the left. I mentioned before that it was taking me forever to get through it and there are a few other books I want to read after this one so I laid in bed and cracked it open. It really is a good book! I just had to really get into it instead of kind of glancing at it from time to time. I made a pretty good dent in it but I'm not finished with it yet. I cant wait until bed time so I can curl up with it again and see what happens next! Apparently they are going to be making it into a movie sometime soon. Jeez Nicholas Sparks! What is this, the billionth book you've written that got turned into a movie?

Lets not forget he wrote "The Notebook", "A Walk To Remember", "Nights in Rodanthe" and "Message in a Bottle".
And the author of two movies that are out/ going to be out any day, "Dear John" and "The Last Song".
"Dear John" just happens to be my favorite book EVER.
The movie really didn't do it for me, but it was still good. They changed a lot of it though, which was sad.

My goal this year is to read ALL his books, even the ones I've already seen the movie to.
Especially "The Notebook", I'm curious to see how different the movie is from his book.
So far I'm almost done with two, and I have fourteen to go (although two of them I'm not two excited about reading because someone told me they were boring, but I'm not going to name those two)

2/28/10 + Photo and song of the day: 8

Today I am watching "Coco Before Chanel". Which is a good movie so far, but I warn you, its in French. So of you don't know French or don't like subtitles it is probably not for you.. There is this part were this man is trying to sell her something pink and she informs them that "only black makes a woman's eyes pop" or something like that. I was like, "Oh my goodness. I love this woman!"
Today I am reading "The Lucky One" by Nicholas Sparks. I love him. This book is taking me forever to get through. Nothing against the book I'm just having problems focusing.

Today I am listening to...

Minutes
Turn into hours
And hours
Bleed into days
It's been years now
Since the trouble
You left me
And I wanna say

I'm not bitter
But I've seen
Better days
I'm not bitter
Is it
The better man
That always
Walks away

No phone call
Or even a letter
No words
To cause me any pain
It's been years now
Since anything
Could hurt me
And through this life
I think my way

I'm not bitter
But I've seen
Better days
I'm not bitter
Is it
The better man
That always
Walks away?
Watch me walk away

I'm not bitter
But I've seen
Better days
I'm not bitter
I'll be
The better man
Watch me walk away

Watch me walk away
(I'm not bitter)
Watch me walk away
(I'm not bitter)
Watch me walk away
