Then I got hit by a bus...

Tonight it hit me.
That I'm really leaving.
For the first time instead of talking about how "exciting" me leaving was I really got to thinking about how sad its going to be too.
& I cried, I wont lie..

Here are the things that I will miss

1. Not having my mom there to go crawl in bed with when I'm having guy problems.. or I'm just on my period & in an emotional mood.

2. Having my puppy there to cuddle with. He always takes my troubles away with one head tilt. He knows when I'm sad & when I'm mad & knows how to comfort me.

3. Dr. Pepper. I've given up the addiction... but not even having the option to go buy one even when I'm having a really bad day?? Harsh....

4. My friends. I know I've been so busy lately & I've been horrible at keeping in touch. But I have met some of the COOLEST people growing up. Its so sad leaving them behind. We are all growing up, doing our own thing. Its sad.

5.I'm going to miss one of my best friends, Chellce's, graduation.
A day I once planned on wearing a "I HEART CHELLCE" shirt & bring a megaphone to, I will now be halfway across the World. Sad day.

6. Netflix

Now that reality has set in I think I better hit the hay so I can spend as much time tomorrow hanging out with people since its the last time I will get to see most of them.

I can promise you, tears will be shed.

You never know when their destiny will call them/you somewhere else.

Mich's Going Away Dinner

This is my good friend Mich.

He lives in Germany & comes to visit every Summer & stays with my best friend, Rachel.

After a fun Summer he is finally leaving.

So sad! :(

Last night we had a delicious dinner for his last night in Texas!

He is in a band with Jer (Rach's brother) called CastleLights which I have talked about on this blog before.

Swinging my life away, with you.

Me and my mother have been having the best times in this past week I've been home.

Like yesterday,

we went and swung at this park we found by our house until it got dark...

today was fun as well!

But I kinda accidentally cut my bangs...

does it look okay?

And then I drove to Baytown so me, Cody, Rach, and Amber could go and get some sonic for my last night in town!

I've been having such a great time since I've been home!

Its kinda hard to leave again.

BUT

I'm SO excited.

For those of you that don't know,

tomorrow is Chellce's sweet 16!

So I'm gonna go crawl in bed with her in the morning and then we are going to get her license and her nose pierced.

Then bright and early Thursday morning we are going to catch a plane go to Yellowstone National Park for a week for her 16Th.

I feel so blessed to have a friend that over EVERYONE else would choose me to go on an awesome trip like this with.

Brooke's Bucket List

1.) Drive down the streets of Hawaii in a red convertible 1959 MGA 1600 Coupe singing “Almost always true to you”. (You would only understand if you've seen Elvis Presley's movie "Blue Hawaii)

2.) Get a tattoo.

3.) Do something that makes a difference.

4.) Destroy a computer

5.) Plant a tree

6.) Finish writing at least one book

7.) Learn to play piano, guitar, and ukulele

8.) Learn to surf, and become good at it.

34.) Ride through the desert in a dune-buggy

35.) Host a lemonade stand

36.) Be in a boxing match

38.) Have a deer as a pet

40.) Rebuild a 1959 Chevrolet Apache Fleetside with an automatic transmission.

41.) Learn French, ASL, and Spanish

42.) Write my biological father a letter

44.) Visit our troops in a hostile location

45.) Have something magical happen, completely unplanned

46.) Have a refrigerator covered with pictures

47.) Have my dream wedding and it be everything i've always dreamed it would be

50.) Pet a lion

51.) Learn to drive a motorcycle

52.) Dance with a professional company

53.) Become a pool shark

75.) Pack my bags and set off on the road with no plans or idea of where I’m going with someone I love

79.) Become a pen pal for someone overseas

81.) Successfully become a vegan for an entire year

83.) Become flexible (something i've tried to become since I was three)

85.) Get closure on all hurt, grievance and unhappiness of my past

87.) Date someone who is romantic, without needing my help to plan dates.

88.) Have a picnic party in the park on a beautiful day with all the people that make me happy and make me laugh

89.) Let 99 red balloons go

90.) Become a mother

91.) Ride an Elephant

92.) Go to the Kentucky Derby

93.) Live on the beach.

94.) Open up my dream, "Grace Pregnancy Home". A home that helps unmarried young women with an unplanned pregnancy, through the pregnancy and birth of their child. Including helping them finish school, learn about how to take care of there child, and get a job and there own apartment or house.

95.) Start my own vegetable garden.

96.) Train my dog like police dogs

97.) Live in Paris for a Summer with a view of the Eiffel Tower from my apartment

98.) Never get a speeding ticket

99.) Learn to be happy & find the good in all situations

100.) Create something that will last forever. Even after i'm long gone
