nothing like me when I'm sick to kill the mood

This morning I woke up sick.

Like earth shattering, sore throat, entire body aching sick.

I thought, hmmm... perfect opportunity to lay in bed, be lazy and blog...

but then I realized a few things.

Brooke's Sick Characteristics:

- More impatient than usual. And not just a little cranky stomping when someone is taking a little longer than I would like

I mean, crying because my internet is being slow, instead of just getting up and going to the other room where I have perfect connection.

- I am more cranky in the morning. I don't care if I've already been up for 30 minutes... your voice is loud and annoying and other people are sleeping so I have no problem telling you to shut up.

- more of a picky eater. I only want the foods I cant have such as chocolate and all the other sweets you shouldn't eat while being ill and I refuse to eat any peasant food such as BREAD or anything else you try to give me. I don't mind making ugly faces, and I don't care if I cant take those pain pills on an empty stomach. I want what I want.

so maybe I should just go back to sleep and rid the World of my sicky self until I am feeling better

Sickie Sickie Blues

I love these shows, & now that I've taken ill I've had plenty of time to kick back & enjoy them. These shows have not only kept me entertained while I've been stuck in bed sick, they have also made me feel better.

After all, laughter is the best medicine!

This is my week off & I'm a little... maybe a little more than a little, under the weather. I don't know why they call it 'under the weather' I don't feel like I'm under weather I feel like I'm under a big eighteen wheeler that just ran over me!
I keep telling Harley to get me some tea but he wont! I'm on my death bed here & he is licking himself!

Sick Days!

I've been sick the last two days.

I THANKFULLY had the day off today unexceptedly!

At first it was great, for a little bit. An excuse to not have to clean my room or do chores around the house after my 8 to 8 shift Saturday.

My body felt like someone had used it for a punching bag, but I can deal with body soreness (I was a dancer for 14 years... nuff said),

I had a slight fever,

A little sinus headache but nothing some strong meds couldn't help with.

But my throat has gotten more & more sore (I CANT deal with throat soreness)!

This morning I woke up miserable!

& My momma brought my some ding dong's which made me feel better :)

{excuse my sick face, unbrushed hair, lack of make-up & bad quality (they were taken with my webcam)}

So I've been laying in bed for the last two days & as much as I enjoy being lazy, I wish it was at my own will.

& NOW my mother is going to watch "Eat, Pray, Love" WITHOUT ME!

On another note,

This song has inspired me to learn to play the piano.

Brooke's Bucket List

88.) Have a picnic party in the park on a beautiful day with all the people that make me happy and make me laugh

93.) Live on the beach.

94.) Open up my dream, "Grace Pregnancy Home". A home that helps unmarried young women with an unplanned pregnancy, through the pregnancy and birth of their child. Including helping them finish school, learn about how to take care of there child, and get a job and there own apartment or house.

95.) Start my own vegetable garden.

96.) Train my dog like police dogs

97.) Live in Paris for a Summer with a view of the Eiffel Tower from my apartment

98.) Never get a speeding ticket

99.) Learn to be happy & find the good in all situations

100.) Create something that will last forever. Even after i'm long gone
